In recent years, I’ve even taken the extreme approach of the advent conspiracy theorist, ranting about how grossly commercialized Christmas has become, how wild horses couldn’t drag me into a mall during the month of December, the tragic influence of Western consumer indulgence on the next generation, blah blah blah.
